Syllabus

Judgment reversed and cause remanded. The affidavit of support signed by appellant was a legally binding contract because it was consideration for the immigration benefit provided to appellee, his ex-spouse. However, due to an erroneous calculation of the accrual period of appellant's support obligation, the cause is remanded with instructions to the trial court to modify the amount of damages awarded to appellee.
