MEMORANDUM OPINION
Nannette Carley filed a petition for a writ of mandamus. She seeks to compel
the 334th District Court of Harris County โto rule on the evidence presented
determining the IRS Notices of Liens placed on my titles convey no interest in the
properties.โ
We may issue a writ of mandamus against a judge of a district court in the
court of appeals district. See Tex. Govโt Code Ann. ยง 22.221(b). Carley seeks
mandamus relief against a judge of a district court that is outside our district. See
Tex. Govโt Code Ann. ยง 22.201(j) (โThe Ninth Court of Appeals District is
1
composed of the counties of Hardin, Jasper, Jefferson, Liberty, Montgomery,
Newton, Orange, Polk, San Jacinto, and Tyler.โ).
Relator has not shown that we may exercise our mandamus jurisdiction in this
original proceeding. Accordingly, we dismiss the petition for a writ of mandamus.
PETITION DISMISSED.
