Moorman, presiding Trial Court Cause No. 31154 JUSTICE SMITH delivered the opinion of the Court. MEMORANDUM OPINION Appellant appeals from an order denying his petition for a writ of habeas corpus seeking a reduction in the amount of bail signed by the trial court on June 30, 2026. Appellant’s notice of appeal was filed in the trial court on August 11, 2026, but no motion for extension of time to file the notice of appeal was filed. See TEX. R. APP. P. 26.2; 26.3. By letter from the Clerk of this Court, Appellant was informed that the notice of appeal appeared to be untimely and requested a response showing grounds for continuing the appeal. Appellant did not respond to the Clerk’s letter. An order denying a pretrial petition for a writ of habeas corpus is an appealable order for which a notice of appeal must be filed within 30 days after the trial court entered the order. TEX. R. APP. P. 26.2(a)(1). The notice of appeal was untimely, having been filed more than 30 days after the trial court entered its order. Accordingly, this appeal is dismissed for want of jurisdiction.
