Neither the brief nor a motion for extension of time was filed by that deadline. On July 15, 2026, we ordered appellant to file appellant’s brief by July 31, 2026. We cautioned that if appellant failed to timely file a brief, we would dismiss the appeal for want of prosecution. See TEX. R. APP. P. 38.8(a); see also TEX. R. APP.
