NUMBER 13-26-00352-CV COURT OF APPEALS THIRTEENTH DISTRICT OF TEXAS CORPUS CHRISTI – EDINBURG ____________________________________________________________ STEVE FISCHER, Appellant, v. GEORGE BRADFORD COLEMAN A/K/A BRAD COLEMAN AND D/B/A GULFSIDE CORPORATION, TEXAS MINERAL TRUST, TURTLE BAYOU LLC, TORTUGA CLUB, TIDEWATER MINERALS, STANDARD TRUST, AND WINDWARD EQUITIES AND GREGORY BRANDON COLEMAN, Appellees. ____________________________________________________________ ON APPEAL FROM THE 156TH DISTRICT COURT OF ARANSAS COUNTY, TEXAS ____________________________________________________________ MEMORANDUM OPINION Before Chief Justice Tijerina and Justices Cron and Fonseca Memorandum Opinion by Justice Cron This matter is before the Court on appellant’s motion to dismiss appeal pursuant to the parties’ settlement. On August 3, 2026, we abated the appeal pending potential settlement between the parties. Upon review of appellant’s unopposed motion, it appears the settlement agreement has been finalized, and the subject controversy of this appeal resolved. Furthermore, appellant requests dismissal of the appeal. The Court is of the opinion that the motion should be granted. See TEX. R. APP. P. 42.1(a)(1). Therefore, this cause is reinstated, appellant’s motion to dismiss is granted, and the appeal is hereby dismissed. In accordance with the unopposed motion and apparent agreement between the parties, costs are taxed against the party incurring the same. Having dismissed the appeal at appellant’s request, no motion for rehearing will be entertained. JENNY CRON Justice Delivered and filed on the 24th day of September, 2026. 2
