Supreme Court No. 2026-214-M.P. In the Matter of Christopher L. Malcolm, Esq.: ORDER This matter is before the Court pursuant to a petition for reciprocal discipline filed by this Court’s Disciplinary Counsel in accordance with Article III, Rule 14 of the Supreme Court Rules of Disciplinary Procedure for Attorneys. The respondent, Christopher L. Malcolm, was admitted to practice law in this state on October 23, 2013. He was also licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (Commonwealth). The respondent currently is indefinitely suspended from the practice of law in this state by order of this Court dated February 17, 2025, after Disciplinary Counsel presented a prior petition for reciprocal discipline (First Reciprocal Petition). Counsel filed this First Reciprocal Petition upon receiving notification that on November 19, 2024, a single justice of the Supreme Judicial Court for the Commonwealth (SJC), issued an Order of Immediate Temporary Suspension against respondent, effective immediately, regarding unspecified disciplinary matters pending in the Commonwealth. -1- On April 22, 2026, a single justice of the SJC issued an Order of Disbarment (Disbarment Order) against respondent, effective immediately. This Disbarment Order is the basis for the instant petition for reciprocal discipline. Article III, Rule 14(a), entitled “Reciprocal Discipline,” provides in pertinent part: “Upon notification from any source that a lawyer within the jurisdiction of the [Disciplinary] Board has been disciplined in another jurisdiction, [Disciplinary] Counsel shall obtain a certified copy of the disciplinary order and file it with the [C]ourt.” On July 14, 2026, Disciplinary Counsel filed a certified copy of the Disbarment Order with this Court along with her request that we impose reciprocal discipline. On July 21, 2026, we issued an order to respondent providing him thirty days to assert any claim he may have that the reciprocal discipline should not be imposed. The respondent did not provide a response. This matter was before this Court at our conference on September 10, 2026. After a review of the record, we determine that respondent has failed to show cause why identical reciprocal discipline should not be imposed. The respondent, Christopher L. Malcolm, is hereby disbarred from the practice of law in this state, effective immediately, and until further order of this Court. The respondent shall not petition for reinstatement in this state until he is reinstated to the bar in the Commonwealth. -2- The respondent shall forthwith provide his current residence address or other address to the Clerk of Court where communications may be directed to him. Entered as an order of this Court this 15th day of September 2026. By Order, /s/ Meredith A.
