Electronically Filed Supreme Court SCPW-XX-XXXXXXX 02-NOV-2026 07:53 AM Dkt. 27 ODDP SCPW-XX-XXXXXXX IN THE SUPREME COURT OF THE STATE OF HAWAIʻI ________________________________________________________________ IN RE FRANCIS GRANDINETTI ________________________________________________________________ ORIGINAL PROCEEDING (CASE NO. 3CPC-XX-XXXXXXX) ORDER DENYING PETITIONS (By: Devens, C.J., McKenna, Eddins, and Ginoza, JJ., and Circuit Judge Bernard Lee, assigned by reason of vacancy) On March 17, 2026, three documents from Francis Grandinetti (Petitioner) were filed in this court and titled: (1) “HRAP Agency Injunction Application and Agency Mandamus Application: Police-Corruption and ‘Ticket-fixing’ case”; (2) “Injunction Application”; and (3) “On Mandamus Application to Vacate, Void, Reverse, or Remand Hilo DCTC Case with Judge J. Hawk; February 8-10, 2025 arrest case.” We construe these documents as petitions for extraordinary writ. Upon consideration of the petitions and the record, an extraordinary writ is unwarranted because Petitioner has not demonstrated a clear and indisputable right to relief, nor a lack of alternative means to obtain the relief sought. See Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP v. Kim, 153 Hawaiʻi 307, 319, 537 P.3d 1154, 1166 (2023). It is ordered that the petitions are denied. It is also ordered: 1. We construe docket 14 as a motion and deny the motion. 2. The clerk shall file a redacted version of docket 20 because docket 20 contains personal information (full account number) that should have been redacted pursuant to Rules 2.19 and 9 of the Hawaiʻi Court Records Rules.
