(CASE NO. AB 2026-002; DCD NO. 2-2023-311325)
ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL
(By: Leonard, Presiding Judge, Wadsworth and McCullen, JJ.)
Upon review of the record, it appears that:

default notice informing Uilani that the time for filing the
statement of jurisdiction and opening brief had expired, the
matter would be called to the court's attention on July 31, 2026,
for appropriate action, which could include dismissal of the
appeal, under Hawai i Rules of Appellate Procedure Rules 12.1(e)
and 30, and Uilani could request relief from default by motion;

Further, limited liability companies must be represented by legal
counsel in litigation. Non-party and non-attorney Ray Sagum signed the notice
of appeal on behalf of Uilani. Accordingly, Uilani could not proceed in this
appeal unless represented by legal counsel. See Hawaii Revised Statutes (HRS)
