NOT FOR PUBLICATION IN WEST'S HAWAII REPORTS OR THE PACIFIC REPORTER Electronically Filed Intermediate Court of Appeals CAAP-XX-XXXXXXX 22-OCT-2026 07:55 AM Dkt. 111 ODMR NO. CAAP-XX-XXXXXXX IN THE INTERMEDIATE COURT OF APPEALS OF THE STATE OF HAWAI#I Y.M., Petitioner-Appellee, v. J.M., Respondent-Appellant. APPEAL FROM THE FAMILY COURT OF THE FIRST CIRCUIT (CASE NO. 1FDA-XX-XXXXXXX) ORDER DENYING MOTION FOR RECONSIDERATION AND MOTION TO SUPPLEMENT THE APPELLATE RECORD (By: Leonard, Presiding Judge, and Wadsworth and McCullen, JJ.) Upon consideration of Self-represented Respondent- Appellant J.M.'s (Appellant) motion for reconsideration of summary disposition order [HRAP Rule 40] (Motion for Reconsideration) and motion to supplement the appellate record [HRAP Rule 10(e)] (Motion to Supplement), both filed on October 12, 2026, and the record, it appears that: (1) Appellant seeks reconsideration of this court's Summary Disposition Order filed on September 30, 2026, and to supplement the record with "ten categories of family court orders and hearing records from related proceedings involving the same parties and the same alleged incidents that form the basis of the Order for Protection affirmed in this case"; (2) A motion for reconsideration is not a vehicle for arguments that could not have been presented earlier, see Citizens for Equitable & Responsible Gov't v. Cnty. of Hawai#i, 108 Hawai#i 318, 335, 120 P.3d 217, 234 (2005); and NOT FOR PUBLICATION IN WEST'S HAWAII REPORTS OR THE PACIFIC REPORTER (3) Appellant presents no point of law or fact that this court overlooked or misapprehended. See Hawai#i Rules of Appellate Procedure Rule 40(b). Therefore, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Motion for Reconsideration is denied. The Motion to Supplement is denied as moot.
