Court of Appeals of the State of Georgia ATLANTA,____________________ August 24, 2026 The Court of Appeals hereby passes the following order: A27A0123. DALY v. CARTER. Mother has appealed the trial court’s custody order in this case, and Heather Daly recently filed a notice of appearance to represent mother on appeal in this Court. Father has filed a Motion to Disqualify Heather Daly as counsel on appeal. A similar motion was filed in the trial court during the custody proceeding, but the trial court did not have an opportunity to rule on it prior to the appeal being filed. Accordingly, we hereby REMAND this case to the superior court to hold any relevant hearings and make findings of fact and conclusions of law regarding Father’s Motion to Disqualify Heather Daly as counsel for Mother. Once the superior court has entered an order addressing this issue, the superior court clerk is DIRECTED to resubmit the appeal with this order and any additional relevant filings docketed after this appeal was previously submitted.
