ORDER
On September 14, 2026, Henry O’Barry Pearsall filed a notice of appeal in
this Court from a Court of Common Pleas order sentencing him for a violation of
probation. The Senior Court Clerk issued a notice directing Pearsall to show cause
why his appeal should not be dismissed because this Court lacks jurisdiction to hear
an appeal taken directly from an order issued by the Court of Common Pleas.
Pearsall received the notice, as evidenced by the return receipt that was filed with
the Court on September 28. To date, Pearsall has not responded to the notice to show
cause. Dismissal of this appeal is therefore deemed to be unopposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the appeal is
DISMISSED under Supreme Court Rules 3(b)(2) and 29(b).
