The Clerk’s office then directed the appellant to pay the filing fee by July 30 or a notice to show cause would issue. The appellant did not pay the fee, and the Clerk’s office issued a notice, by certified mail, directing the appellant to show cause why this appeal should not be dismissed. The appellant received the notice by August 31, 2026. The appellant has failed to respond to the notice to show cause or to pay the filing fee, and dismissal of this action therefore is deemed to be unopposed. 1 The Court previously assigned pseudonyms to the parties under Supreme Court Rule 7(d).
