TEXAS COURT OF APPEALS, THIRD DISTRICT, AT AUSTIN
NO. 03-26-00677-CR
Joseph Leroy Phillips, Appellant
v.
The State of Texas, Appellee
FROM THE 207TH DISTRICT COURT OF COMAL COUNTY,
NO. CR2023-410B, THE HONORABLE DANIEL H. MILLS, JUDGE PRESIDING
MEMORANDUM OPINION
Appellant Joseph Leroy Phillips seeks to appeal a judgment of conviction for
Possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1. See Tex. Health & Safety Code
ยง 481.115(b). The trial court has certified that (1) this is a plea-bargain case and Phillips has no
right of appeal, and (2) Phillips has waived the right of appeal. Accordingly, we dismiss the appeal
for want of jurisdiction. See Tex. R. App. P. 25.2(a)(2), (d).
