LEJWOND LAMONT PTOMY,
Appellant,
v.
STATE OF FLORIDA,
Appellee.
_____________________________
On appeal from the Circuit Court for Escambia County.
John F. Simon, Jr., Judge.
August 19, 2026
PER CURIAM.
AFFIRMED. See Hatcher v. State, 342 So. 3d 807, 810 (Fla. 1st
DCA 2022) (determining whether probable cause exists to search
a vehicle by utilizing a “totality-of-the-circumstances approach”);
Aldama v. State, 394 So. 3d 148, 151 (Fla. 3d DCA 2024) (finding
probable cause to search where officers smelled marijuana in the
vehicle and defendant’s answers dispelled a lawful explanation for
the scent); Hoehaver v. State, 389 So. 3d 766, 768 (Fla. 5th DCA
2024) (concluding that the odor of burnt marijuana emanating
from inside a vehicle supplied probable cause to search).
OSTERHAUS, C.J., and LEWIS and WINOKUR, JJ., concur.
