HILL, J. — Kamaleah Brown appeals a no-contact order. However, she fails to
adequately argue her claims and cites neither the record nor legal authority.
We decline review.
FACTS
We glean the following from the limited record before us. In November 2025, the
Okanogan County Superior Court issued a domestic violence and anti-harassment
No. 41709-3-III
Undziakiewicz v. Brown
no-contact order protecting Brown’s son, T.B., and Mandy Undziakiewicz from Brown.
Notice of Appeal, Prot. Ord. at 1-3, 4-6. The court determined Brown was a credible
threat to T.B. and granted the Undziakiewiczs temporary custody of T.B. See Notice of
Appeal, Prot. Ord. at 2, 5, 8.
Brown appeals the no-contact order.
ANALYSIS
Brown argues the court erred in granting the no-contact order. We review trial
court decisions regarding domestic violence and anti-harassment orders for abuse of
discretion. See Rodriguez v. Zavala, 188 Wn.2d 586, 590, 398 P.3d 1071 (2017). “A
trial court abuses its discretion when it is exercised on untenable grounds or for untenable
reasons, or when the discretionary act was manifestly unreasonable.” Pederson’s Fryer
Farms, Inc. v. Transamerica Ins. Co., 83 Wn. App. 432, 454, 922 P.2d 126 (1996).
Brown primarily refers to facts outside the record. We will not consider such
evidence. See State v. Bugai, 30 Wn. App. 156, 158, 632 P.2d 917 (1981). Where
Brown references facts which may be in the record, she fails to cite them. We “refuse to
address an argument that is based on factual assertions not supported by specific
reference to the record.” RAP 10.3(a)(6). Brown also fails to provide legal authority.
“We do not consider issues that are unsupported by argument and legal authority.” Riley
v. Iron Gate Self Storage, 198 Wn. App. 692, 713, 395 P.3d 1059 (2017).
